Advanced First Aid for Non-EMS Personnel

Time:     New:   16 – 24 hours (The course can be conducted in as little as two days <8 hours per day> or in shorter sessions over several weeks or months.)      Renewal:   8 hours

Certification & Credits: A two certification is issued upon completion through the American Safety and Health Institute.

Prerequisite:  CPR / AED Certification & BBP Certification (can be conducted in conjunction with Advanced First Aid)

Description: Advanced First Aid is a course that prepares participants to recognize and act in an emergency to sustain life. This program exceeds OSHA guidelines for emergency care.  It is intended for work-place emergency response team members who are not licensed healthcare providers and can be customized for the environment.  Medical, Injury, Environmental, and Behavioral emergencies are addressed.
