HeartSaver CPR / First Aid Skills Sessions

American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR & AED and First Aid are offered as self-paced on-line classes followed by in-person skills evaluations.  We do not recommend e-learning courses for first-time students.  If you are new to CPR, we strongly recommend attending a traditional class which will allow more time for practice and questions.

  • Please select the class that you wish to take. The code and instructions to complete the online component will be emailed to you. When that is completed, you can complete your skills practice and evaluation. This generally takes between 15 - 30 minutes for CPR. Sessions are scheduled during the day or evening.

In order to receive your AHA card, you must complete the in-person skills evaluation within 60 days of receiving your on-line certificate.   Please bring a printed copy of the certificate to your skills session.

The only course that does not require an in-person skills session is the Bloodborne Pathogen class, which is completed entirely online.
