This class meets the requirements for DCFS and NAECY (National Association for the Education of Young Children) accreditation for childcare centers when all components are included.

Traditional Class – This 100% in-person class includes classroom lecture, skills practice and testing. Training Fee: $89
Traditional Class Registration
Blended Learning – Part 1 of this class includes short, self-paced online modules for CPR and First Aid that can be completed at once, or over time, allowing for more flexibility. Part 2 includes in-person skills practice and testing. Training Fee: $77
You will receive the same certification card for either option.
Course Completion Card: A two-year American Safety & Health Institute eCard is issued upon successful completion for either option.
Description: This class covers CPR / AED and choking procedures for adults (8 years of age +), children (1 – 7 years of age), and infants (under 1 year of age).
Pediatric First Aid Topics include procedures to handle:
Medical Emergencies, such as asthma attacks and diabetic emergencies
Injuries, such as bleeding and burns
Environmental Emergencies, such as allergic reactions Epinephrine and naloxone administration are included in all classes.
While the class meets requirements for daycare providers and other childcare workers, it is also open to parents, family members, nannies, and babysitters.
On-Site Pediatric First Aid Classes for Peoria and surrounding areas in Central Illinois can be scheduled for groups.
