This class teaches cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), defibrillation with an automated external defibrillator (AED), and relief of chocking. Procedures are covered for:
- adults – age 8 and over (55 pounds +)
- children – 1 – 7 years of age (under 55 pounds)
- infants (optional) – under 1 year of age (this component is optional for private classes)
The goal of this class is to allow participants to perform CPR and confidently operate any brand or type of AED.
Basic or Advanced First Aid can be combined with this CPR / AED Class.
